Patz - 98C Silo Unloader

While the 98C works its way to the bottom of the silo, the Patz self-leveling design keeps the silage surface level automatically for reliable operation. Two big 30-inch (762 mm) drive wheels move the 98C across the silage. One wheel pushes and the other pulls. With the cutter bar suspended between the two drive wheels, this keeps the wheels on the same footing as the cutter bar for positive drive.

When it’s time to refill the silo, you can raise the 98C to the very top of the dome and use every inch of storage The high-capacity blower’s high-strength, corrosion-resistant steel impeller blades with welded studs are adjustable to allow close tolerance for maximum blower efficiency and longer service life. Choose flat blades or cupped blades.

Patz - RD-2200 Silo Unloader

The RD-2200 Silo Unloader combines our aggressive gathering chain in a ring drive. Select the distributor option for uniform distribution while filling.

The pivot-mounted gearbox assures engagement of the drive sprocket into the ring for positive drive. The efficient gearboxes are filled with synthetic oil for reliable operation in hot weather and temperatures down to negative forty degrees.

The Patz ring-drive torque limiter features a radial-pin design for positive machine protection. This farm-proven, high-quality Patz torque limiter provides accurate torque release under adverse conditions. It allows the RD-2200 to work through hard-packed and frozen silage while protecting the ring and drive system.

Val-Metal - 970 & 880 SK Unloaders

The drive ring's large diameter along with wall to wall suspension arms guarantee the perfect equilibrium of the machine without counter weight that has to be adjusted every now and then to match silage conditions.

Made of 3/16" thick steel, the 3 ring segments feature a big 9' diameter on the 12' to 20' models. They are reversible giving them twice the durability. Double 48" long splice plates provide rigidity to the whole assembly.

On the 24' models, ring segments are beefed-up and make a large 11' diameter ring for a stable and well- balanced machine. Steel auger shroud Auger shroud cover and sides are made of stainless steel to resist silage acid and corrosion. The rugged structural steel tube frame features a welded construction for extra rigidity.

The 26" high capacity blower with 3 stainless steel adjustable paddles rotating at 1,225 R.P.M. for 8,330
feet per minute tip speed, assures that silage will be thrown all the way through the door.

Val-Metal - RD-2200 Silo Unloader

High hanger design helps to keep the unloader level. It folds down for lifting in the roof of the silo. Easily adjustable counterweights keep the unloader in perfect balance.
